FISHING
The waters around the Dingle Peninsula contain an abundance of sea life, including dolphins, whales, blue shark, conger eels, gurnard, wrasse, tope, mackerel, pollack, mullet, dog fish, ray, bass, plaice, whiting and turtles. Cloghane River, Lough Annascaul and the Owenascaul River are good locations for game angling. Shore fishing at Inch, Ventry, Clogher Beach, Smerwick Harbour and Ferriter's Cove (a few hundred yards from the Dún an Óir cottages). Deep Sea Fishing can be organised at the quay in Dingle.
